7 Months

Last Monday Sydney was seven months old.  I am loving watching her grow up, but it's just happening too fast!!

She had a blast playing with the paper.  I think I used 2 or 3 pieces because she kept tearing them to shreds.  But sadly, I had to take the paper away... Sydney did not approve of this...

At Seven Months.....

Sydney is on the move!  She is rolling EVERYWHERE!  She is up on all fours, ready to crawl any day now.  She's done a little, but not quite there.  I know she'll love it when she can really move, but I'm not quite ready for it.  For one, there are little toys everywhere that I don't want her to be able to get to.  Also, she's my baby- and I'm in no hurry for her to grow up!

I suppose I should also note that at 7 months, Sydney waves, and she also says "Hi" and "Da da."  She will look right at Marcus and say, "Hi Dada."  Pretty cute.  And it just makes Marcus melt.  :)  She already knows how to work him. :)

She also, as of this last week, has a new scream.  It is very high-pitched and very intentional.  She does it when I'm feeding her baby food and I take too long in between bites.  And when something makes her mad.  And when she wants something.  And just because.

It's hard to accept that she's my last one....that this is the last of these baby "firsts."  I know there will be many more firsts, and I'm thankful for that.  I just adore my babies.  I love watching them and thinking about how God planned this- how he knew how wonderful it would be to become a mother and he gave us these little blessings.
