...without pictures. :( I have been MIA in blog world lately. First, my laptop crashed. It was my work laptop, but considering it was the 4th computer to crash on me in the last 10 months, it was also my last working one. Then my wonderful BIL fixed our home computer, though it's a little old and I can't get my pictures on here to update. You'll have to imagine....
Nana got Cade a real football helmet for his birthday. It just happens to be maroon with a goldenrod facemask (USC colors....Marcus is a huge USC football fan). He likes to wear it with his USC football jersey and carry around his football. The first day he got it he wore said attire to Isa's gymnastics practice. Pretty cute.
I've joined the world of extreme couponing. A few great deals and I'm hooked! Marcus went shopping with me today and I think I've even gotten him convinced that it's not so crazy! I'll spare you the details, but for example....
Albertsons: 2 bottles Hershey's syrup, 2 bags large marshmallows, 2 (6 count) Hershey's bars, 4 boxes Fiber One bars, 4 boxes Nature Valley Granola bars, 2 boxes Graham Crackers, 2 containers Dean's Dip, 2 (8 ct) pkgs hot dogs, 4 lbs chicken breasts, 2 pkgs Kielbasa sausage, Breyers ice cream, and a gallon of milk.......$38!! (for about $111 worth of product!)
Target: 2 (8 count) Bounty papertowels, 2 (50 ct) Bounty napkins, 3 (44 loads each) Arm & Hammer laundry soap, loaf of bread, 2 Earth's Best baby oatmeal, Earth's best teething crackers, kids' Colgate toothpaste, 100 ct ziplock bags, 2 Sally Hansen nail polishes, 2 (2 pks) Revlon nail files, Sally Hansen nail strengthener, 100 ct cottonballs, up&up brand baby puffs, Hot Wheels car, liquid dish soap, a $1 toy, and 10 pack sugar cookies.....$45!! (for about $85 worth of product.) I didn't have coupons for everything here- I paid full price for somethings just because I needed them.
I was cleaning out Isa's box of crafts/paper/coloring books and came across this.....there was a line down the middle and at the top on one side it said "My Birthday List" and on the other side "Ho (who) is Not invitd". On the first side she had listed all of our family and extended family members. On the "not invited" side the word "Dad" had been erased. Guess he must have made her mad when she was writing her list. Too funny.
Sydney is not yet 11 months old, but boy does she think she's one of the big kids. She walks everywhere she goes, has attempted to run, and recently has started climbing. She also thinks she can swim, and that she should be able to go down the slip-n-slide just like the other kids. She is quickly outgrowing baby food. Luckily- when the convenience is needed- she'll still eat it, but she would much rather eat what we're eating- larger bites and all.
