Randomness

Please forgive me for the lack of organization in this post.  This past week has been a rough one, and my mind is a little jumbled.

Last Monday my Grandma Mac passed away.  (Well, technically she was my cousin's grandma, but I still called her my grandma)  She had cancer, though just two months ago the doctors said she would be fine.  Grandma Mac has always held a special place in my heart.  She used to watch me when I was little while my parents worked.  She was a trendy, classy, wonderful woman.  She always made everyone around her feel so special, so loved.  I still can't believe she's gone.

I am praying for a certain change in my life.  It seems like time is running out though.  I've never really been one to worry- I know the Lord will put me right where I need to be.  So I am praying for patience. :)

Cade 2 1/2 almost 3.  He is so stubborn!  And lately he's been pretty ornery too.  I hope this is a phase.

Sydney is 8 months old tomorrow.  This evening I was waiting for the older two to get out of the bath tub so I could give her a bath, and while she was waiting she was crawling all over as usual.  She likes to pull herself up on Isa's little step stool.  But tonight I turned around to see her trying to climb up on to it!!  I didn't know kids could start climbing this early!!

I am going to start playing softball this weekend and I'm really excited.  However, it's been a LONG time since I've actually worked out, so hopefully I don't hurt myself!

On that note, I've been making an attempt to actually exercise with the kids every day instead of just sitting on the grass while they exercise.  For the most part I've been jumping on the trampoline with them, though we've played other sports as well.  15 minutes on the trampoline and I'm exhausted!!!

Isa's school mascot is the eagle.  Last weekend she finally got to take home the "class pet"- a stuffed animal named Ernie Eagle.  They went in alphabetical order, so she was #23 out of 24 to bring him home.  Needless to say the very first thing I did was wash him. :)  She got to keep him for the weekend and he went everywhere with us.  I took pictures of the things we did and on Sunday we put the pictures in the class journal and Isa wrote about what we did.  Then on Monday she got to share it with the class.
